Meet The Doctor

Marion J. Maloof
D.C., B.C.A.O.

Board Certified Atlas Orthogonal Specialist
in the Care of the Upper Spine.

Board Certified Atlas Orthogonal Specialist

Dr. Marion Maloof, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1999 from one of
the premier chiropractic schools in the country – recognized nationally for its commitment to innovative and
superior chiropractic, undergraduate, and graduate health science education – Life University in Marietta,
Georgia.

He went on to pursue and obtain his Board Certification as an Atlas Orthogonist (B.C.A.O.) at the Sweat
Institute for Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic in Atlanta, Georgia, training directly under Dr. Roy W. Sweat –
The foremost authority in the upper neck, and one of the world’s pioneers in the instrument adjustment
revolution and founder of the Atlas Orthogonal technique.  Working under Dr. Sweat, Dr. Maloof assisted in
the education and training of hundreds of orthogonal chiropractors during his time at the Institute.

Dr. Maloof went on to receive extensive continuing education and certification through the Spine Research
Institute of San Diego, California.  Only a handful of health professionals in the state of Georgia have
achieved this level of certification – specializing in automobile whiplash injury in the areas of biomechanics,
crash reconstruction, soft tissue injuries, and outcomes.

In 2000, he founded Maloof Family Chiropractic Clinic in Lawrenceville, GA where he specializes in this
state-of- the-art chiropractic technique – utilizing sound waves to gently and effectively align the spine and
restore healing communication between the brain and body.  Atlas Orthogonal targets interference and insult
to the central nervous system to maximize nerve system function, eliminate pain, and restore health while
minimizing the risk to the patient.

Dr. Maloof’s introduction to chiropractic medicine actually began before he was born.   His mother had
suffered multiple miscarriages when she finally heeded her husband’s advice to seek chiropractic
treatments.  Her chiropractor was Dr. Sweat.  Within three months of treatments, his mother became
pregnant with him and subsequently gave birth to two more children.  Dr. Maloof came to know first-hand
that chiropractic has the power to dramatically affect positive and lifelong health and wellness changes
within the human body.

His passion is to actively share this reality with those who most need to experience it!  Over the last 17
years, Dr. Maloof has found that patients tend to pursue chiropractic as a last resort.  When they have not
found satisfaction or healing through traditional medical venues, our office is often where they end up.
Patients regularly come to him in states of utter desperation and despair; and sometimes, health needs go
beyond chiropractic.  As a result, Dr. Maloof has incorporated into his practice broader disciplines of
wellness sciences, and has forged lasting relationships with allied health professionals in other helpful fields.

His personal experience, convictions and passions, for example, led him to raise his own children – free of
vaccines and antibiotics – building a strong immune system through a commitment to well-adjusted bodies
(chiropractically) as well as healthy nutritional and lifestyle choices.

Dr. Maloof, in fact, defines himself as a health facilitator, helping people position themselves for optimum
health and wellness.
